About Us

Float Press is based in the depths of the Wealden countryside in the South East of England. The beauty of the local landscape and gardens inspired Rebecca and Gary McKay to establish the print house in 2012. Float Press explores pattern and print of the local flora and fauna. Taking inspiration from the garden surrounding their studio, in the meadows and woods beyond, and down to the marsh bordering the nearby coastline. Over the years they have produced a range of products in a varied selection of materials, including card, plywood, silk, linen, velvet, and more recently bone china and ceramic tiles.

Since 2012 Float Press has also worked on a selection of exciting commission projects, for both private and commercial clients.
